Brian Ocel - Guitars

Brian grew up on a healty diet of 80's rock from bands like Poison, Motley Crue, Queensryche and Metallica. His brother gave him his first guitar at age 15, and he's been shredding ever since. A founding member of KICKSTART, Brian has been rocking Twin Cities stages since 2002. Previous to KICKSTART, Brian played in his high school band "Odyssey" while at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis (Go Teddies!), and then honed his skills in various studio projects and lessons with local guitar gurus Dan Neale and Todd Duane.

As a self-taught web geek, Brian also serves as the webmaster for the band's website and enjoys figuring new things out to improve the site. You can also find Brian mixing sound for bands on Friday nights at Babe's Music Bar in Lakeville.

When not rocking with KICKSTART, Brian likes to spend time with his wife and young son and getting away on weekend camping trips and vacations to the North Shore.
